Winter Meeting 2012 is nearly here!

We now have dates and a place for the free winter meeting and training session.  In keeping the spirit of the mountain west, we will be meeting at Cabelas in Lehi, Utah on January 19th from 9 am to 5 pm and the training session ($50) will be held on January 20, 2011 from 9 am to 1 pm.  Cabelas has nice conference area in their facility. We will be eating lunch with fare from the Cabelas cafe so start thinking about whether to choose the buffalo or elk burger!  Don't worry, there are plenty of normal food selections too.

The Hampton Inn and Springhill Suites are right across the freeway from Cabelas for those of you traveling from out of town.  The store/meeting location is about 25 minutes south of the  Salt Lake City airport on I-15. Take a look at the Hotel Info page of this web site for links to the hotels. 

The agenda is pretty well finalized so take a look.  Don't miss out on the training session too.  Our goal is to have an interactive training session that feels more like a roundtable.  If you haven't already replied, send Terry an email at Terry@mwmug.org to let him know you will be attending the meeting and/or the training session. 

Members will be receiving update emails, but you can watch this web site for the latest information too.

Just so you know...

The MWMUG teamed up with the Southern Colorado User Group to hold a meeting in the Colorado Springs area on November 17, 2011.  The meeting was well attended by over 40 members from the southern Colorado user community.  We look forward to continuing this meeting on regular basis as there were great opportunities to network with our friends from the eastern Rocky Mountains. 

MWMUG Fall 2011 Meeting is in the books!

Great meeting!  This thing just keeps getting better.  From the golf game on Sunday morning, the pool side reception, the fantastic presentations, to the social dinner on Monday night, it just couldn't have been more productive.  We had great presentations on upgrades, scheduling tools, mobile applications, extending Maximo efficiency, web services, and what is the real scoop on version 7.5

We even had an announcement of a new product from Interloc.  Take a look at the user group page to see the presentation and the press release.

The meeting was held in Park City on August 7th to 9th at the Yarrow Resort Hotel and Conference Center.
